Pressed in Place - Six Decades of print making with Liza Jones and Paul Miller: A rare print sale of artwork from Liza Jones and Paul Miller will be showcased at the Hoffman Center for Arts over the Labor Day weekend.
This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of history, courtesy of Liza Jones and Paul Miller. All proceeds of the print sale will help HCA continue their commitment to education and community engagement in the arts.
Long-time residents of Manzanita, Liza Jones and Paul Miller helped build the Pacific Northwest printmaking community. Liza founded Inkling Studio in 1981, a cooperative printmaking workshop in Portland. Paul is an experienced etcher. Their art studio and home are located in Manzanita. Both of their works are exhibited in the Portland Art Museum collection.
The Portland Art Museum currently is hosting an exhibition of Inkling Studio, Community and Printmaking in Portland, 1981-2009, that highlights artists who taught and exhibited work at Inkling Studios.
All are welcome to attend Pressed in Place at the Hoffman Center for the Arts.
Art print sales will be processed through the HCA Gallery.
