Scholarships Program
Creativity should be accessible to everyone.
Our scholarship program helps remove financial barriers so more people can learn, create, and be part of the Hoffman community.

Where Access Opens Doors
Hoffman’s Scholarship Program helps make creative experiences more accessible. Whether you’re exploring something new or returning to a practice you love, it offers support to learn, grow, and participate alongside others.
About the Scholarship Program
We offer scholarships to individuals who need financial assistance to participate in classes, workshops, and events at Hoffman Center for the Arts.
Our staff and Board are committed to making Hoffman a welcoming place for all. This program is made possible through generous community support and the Kathleen Ryan Memorial Fund, established in 2016.
Coverage & Eligibility
Scholarships may be applied toward partial or full tuition for a class, workshop, or event. They do not cover additional costs such as materials, travel, accommodations, or meals.
Awards are limited to one per person per calendar year. Priority is given to individuals living on the North Oregon Coast and those from historically underrepresented backgrounds.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted at least 7 business days before the start of the class, workshop, or event.
We accept applications on a rolling basis and continue awarding scholarships as long as funds are available.
Please review our cancellation policy, as it applies to scholarship recipients.
Support the Program
This program is made possible by the generosity of our donors. Their contributions allow us to offer meaningful access to the arts, supporting individuals who might not otherwise be able to participate. It’s a direct investment in a more inclusive, creative community.
