Join us in the Hoffman Clay Studio for a casual session of learning to make adornments: a decorative item worn on the body or added to an object or space to make it look more attractive. Students will learn to cut shapes from slabs of clay and choose underglaze colors.
About the instructor: Nancy Hornshuh has enjoyed a lifelong interest in creativity. She holds a degree in Art Education, managing small business offices, and owning her own business, Creative Beginnings. Retirement has provided Nancy the opportunity to explore many avenues of expression. Currently Nancy enjoys hand building with clay and creating garden décor, as well as mixed media collage, quilting, knitting, and gathering with friends to explore and share creative ideas.
