Ketzel Levine
Volunteer garden coordinator
Ketzel joined the Hoffman Center for the Arts in 2018, bringing with her a decades-long passion for horticulture and ornamental plants. For most of her career, Ketzel was a senior correspondent for NPR’s Morning Edition. She also had a side gig talking plants with NPR show host Scott Simon, earning the nickname the “Doyenne of Dirt”. Ketzel loves nothing more than hiking and looking for plants in the wild, both locally and abroad, then trying them out for home gardeners in our climate zone 9 Wonder Garden.
