Annual Community Show Registration

Art Drop Off: December 27 - 28, 12-5pm

Exhibited: January 2 - February 13

Community Reception: Saturday, January 2, 3-5pm

North Coast Artists are invited to participate in the Hoffman Center for the Art’s 11th annual Community show, on the theme “Aqua.”

Participants are encouraged to reflect on their personal interpretation of the theme “Aqua.” Whether that means the colors of the sea, of Aquarius, of aquamarine, or whatever sparks your imagination, this is an opportunity to be really creative.

We encourage a diversity of mediums: paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles, collage, wood, writing, and more.

Please observe the following guidelines before registering.

  • Submitted artwork should be made within the last two years and not previously exhibited at the Hoffman Gallery.

  • Artwork is not to exceed 325 sq. inches. This is the widest point multiplied by the tallest point, including any frame.

  • All submitted works should be installation-ready, with good quality hardware included for displaying and/or hanging.

  • Each artist may submit one piece of work to be shown.

  • HCA does not require information for submitted work prior to drop-off, however all work must be delivered to the Hoffman Gallery by 5pm on the 28th of December in order to be shown.

  • Artists are required to register here on our website before 11:59pm on December 26th.

The Hoffman Center for the Arts prefers that work shown in the Community Show be for sale in order to support the cost of hosting this annual exhibition, however this is not a requirement. If an exhibited work is sold, the artist will be paid 70% of the sale price.
